I have greatly enjoyed being the host of Daily Addictions for the short time it has been an active blog.

Time constraints have pressed me into making unpleasant choices and I am having to downsize my obligations.

It is been a blast reading your responses to the challenges.

I will miss them.

My reducing the online challenges, I hope to be able to spend more time writing and being a part of a writer’s community.

Thank you, again. You will be missed.

Yes, I will be back for the duration… I hope.

After a long hiatus, due to medical issues, FLASH FICTION FOR THE PURPOSEFUL PRACTITIONER will be back in full swing starting tomorrow.

Flash Fiction for the Purposeful Practitioner is a weekly writing challenge designed for both the flash fiction newbie and the more experienced writer. It is the desire of this challenge to allow writers the opportunity to clear the cobwebs from a more tedious and involved project. Becoming a part of a new and growing writer’s community might be just what the doctor ordered to rejuvenate your writing juices.

If you are interested in a new writing opportunity, with a new writing community, give us a try.

Thank You and Welcome Back

Thank You and Welcome Back

The 2018 Flash Fiction for the Purposeful Practitioner is going to begin Wednesday, January 10th.

I thought that I would give each of the participants in this writing community a chance to broaden their horizons with a few new writing experiences as well as give you a heads-up on the happenings of this community.

Here are some of the upcoming contests that have caught my attention for this new year.

Listed after them are some weekly writing opportunities for fun and fellowship with other writers.

I hope you will bless me with your ongoing participation in Flash Fiction for the Practical Practitioner as well possibly try something new.

See you on Wednesday!

Thanks for Your Patience

During the last two months (plus) my internet presence and participation has been very sporadic. I have not answered as many friends’ likes, responded to as many prompts, or even participated fully in my own flash challenge blog.

We have had a family upheaval with illnesses followed by the passing of my dad.

I think that as of this week, I will be able to participate once again and become a full member of the writing communities.  I value greatly the chances to write for the many unique contests and I cherish dearly the correspondence and encouragement from fellow writers.

Thank you all for your kindness and understanding.

Welcome to a new start.

With about two years of blogging under my belt, I have decided to take the small writer’s community with whom I have been blessed, and allow The Daily Post to supplement us with new writers.

Each week you will find a new picture prompt to facilitate your writer’s juices. The prompt will have its copyright/ publication privileges easily posted. Please feel free to post the photo prompt and your classic works on your personal blog.

Feel free to follow this blog by clicking the FOLLOW button in the sidebar, as well as my personal blog, It’s All in Finding the Right Words.

I am looking forward to meeting many, many more bloggings in the next years.
